He used to enjoy sharing a \u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003edrink and a story\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e with his workers. And to this day you'll see two barrel men balanced on either side on the bottom of the label. These two men symbolize the generations of Jameson workers, who have labored with passion and commitment to produce Irish Whiskey.\r\n\r\n\t \u003cbr\u003e\r\n\r\n\tThe crested Ten—\u003cem\u003estarted in 1963\u003c\/em\u003e—was Jameson’s first specialty branch off of their core product line, and all of the spirits in the bottle are Jameson through and through. But \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eJameson Crested Ten\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e is not ten years old.  Where the original Jameson is a relatively “young” whiskey at three to four years old, and their special reserves start at twelve-year, Jameson Crested Ten is a blend that averages \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eseven\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e to \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eeight \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003eyears old. It is rumored that the \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e“Ten”\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e refers to the number of different casks and agings mixed to create the final product.
