Their first Rum was produced decades later, in \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e1863\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e, called the\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e Black Seal\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e — Rum that is synonymous with Bermuda, where it's produced. Today, the \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e7th generation\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e Goslings lead the family business, in Bermuda, and are \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ethe largest exporter\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e of any Bermuda-made product, as well as \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ethe only company\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e that blends and bottles on the island.\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cbr\u003e\r\n\u003cstrong\u003eGoslings Black Seal Rum\u003c\/strong\u003e consists of distillates that were aged independently in ex-Bourbon casks. They have been triple-distilled using a combination of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003epot stills \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003eand\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003e continuous stills,\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e and blended together according to the secret family recipe from the 1850s. The generations of experience has resulted in a Rum of \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eexceptional quality\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e and they have earned \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003emultiple awards\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e to prove it — including a \u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eGold Medal\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, among several other platinum and gold wins. Shake ingredients except ginger beer with ice and strain over ice into a highball glass.
